How To Check For Thyroid Issues?

I visited a doctor with complaints of exhaustion, weakness, forgetfulness, and palpitations. Not to mention I occassionally get food stuck in my throat and have to drink lots of water to get it down. The doctor's office called today to tell me that all of my labs were "normal". I specifically asked for my TSH level and they said "7.4, that's perfect" After looking online, it seems it's not perfect. I'm scheduled for an EGD next month for the swallowing problem. Should I have any other labs checked to see if there are actually problems with my thyroid?

Every lab has different standards for measurement .so if u r asking for your values of tsh then u should also ask for their normal range from that particular lab.
