How To Check For Perianal Sepsis ?

I wonder how I would know if I have perianal sepsis? I just underwent stapled prolapsectomy. Have a big ulcer in the mouth that just would not go away even after 15 day. It is easier to see in the mouth, but with painkillers , how would I be able to see it as it is inside the anal canal?

welcome to healthcaremagic
most probably you are seeng the red mucosa or feeling it at the anal region
or it may be peri anal ulceration at the operation site
best will be to consult your surgeon and find out the nature of the lesion and follow advice
