How To Balance The Fluid Intake For Low Sodium Level And UTI?

My mother is on a low sodium diet as a treatment for Meniers disease and high blood pressure. She has been hospitalized with two urinary tract infections, so was told to drink lots of fluids. Recently, she was hospitalized for low sodium levels and was told to cut back on fluids. What do we do now?

Fluid level changes day to day if not moment to moment. Low sodium levels can be fatal due to seizures. At the time of low sodium fluid must be restriced. Previous urinary tract infections get cleared really quickly ana dar unlikely to still be present ev3en 5 days after the start of treatment. However, the situation is going to change week to week and periodic asssessment of electrolytes from labs and urinalysis to know where someone is at , at a particular time, will be necessary. WIth a recent low sodium, fluid has to be restricted.
