pregnancy postponed I am 27yrs old married, got my periods on end of July and marriage was on ist. week of Aug.we had intercourse on 3rd of Aug and continuous 3days in mid of Sep, since he is working out of country no regular sexual intercourse with us. I misses my periods from Aug and to get my periods had sysron tablets for next 5 days from 23rd Sep. kindly suggest to avoid pregnancy
Before taking tablets for withdrawal bleeding you should have checked to rule out the possibility of pregnancy. Now at least you can check either by urine or blood test for pregnancy to rule out the possibility. If the test gives a negative result, you can take Sysron tablets for withdrawal bleeding as suggested by your doctor I suppose. After completing the course of the tablets you can get withdrawal bleeding in around one week.
Then, depending on your need, you can choose the contraceptive measures with your doctor's advice. For infrequent intercourse, barrier contraceptive measures like condoms can be used. For regular on complete protection, low dose oral contraceptive pills can be used.
