Hi, i just want to ask if I'm allowed to take birth control pills, my last menstruation was Feb.09, 2012 and I'll be meeting my husband this coming March 17. I'm afraid of getting pregnant, you're advices is very much appreciated. Thank u very much and more power

Thanks for consulting us.
Generally, women who are currently healthy, not suffering from any medical or gynecological problems, are under 35 years of age & do not smoke can take birth control pills, without much risk, but, it is a good practice to visit a Gynecologist before starting it first time as you may have a contra-indication or a risk factor that make the use of pills unsafe for you.
