How To Avoid Farting In Public?

Hi. I have a problem. I don't fart in class, but i feel as if im about to fart. In class i always have to wriggle my legs hoping that the fart will go away. But when i sit crossed legged in a class or assembly and its very quiet and always feel as if im going to fart. However i try my hardest to keep it in. But its so bad that I start to shake and sweat. I dont know what to do. I try to tell my mum but she just laughs at me and so do my friends. But i feel like crying because of it.
