How To Ascertain Ones Fertility?

hello sir. me and my husband had sex last 17th aug. we are arguing because i think i m fertile that time and he said no so we can have unprotected sex. i m not taking any contraceptive pills. april-june i had menstruation due to hormonal imbalance. it just be normal last month (july). my cycle is 28-30days. my last period was on 4th aug. is it safe? or i m fertile that time? i can be pregnant?

Hi,
If you have always had regular cycles except for the temporary disturbance and have recovered normal menstruation now, you could be in the fertile period during the time of intercourse. If you did not see a period as scheduled around 4th of September, you should go ahead with a pregnancy test with a fresh early morning sample. You can also get a trans-vaginal sonogram for complete clarification. An assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres is useful if you wish for an earlier and better detection. Hope this helps.
