How To Analyse A Complete And Successful Abortion?
I am 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Monday night I took 2 cytotec and 4 other pills for contraction and inserted 2 cytotec in my vagina. I suffered fever, chills and cramps but no bleeding. Tuesday morning i had brownish blood in my pee and a few (4) little strands of mass clot that came out of me. After that no more bleeding or spotting but i still have cramps. I want to know if i abort successfully or not? Thank you
Hello dear Understand your concern Fever, chills and cramps are side effects of abortion pills. It will disappear after 4-5 days. You can take paracetamol, meftla spas and rest for that. Brownish blood with clots suggests abortion process is started. Minor bleeding may remain maximum up to 7 days. Completeness of abortion process is best checked by USG scan and normally done after 14 days of using pills. But if bleeding will continue after 7 days, you can contact gynecologist immediately to rule out causes like retain product, infections, molar and ectopic pregnancy.
Hope this may help you Bets regards Dr. Sagar
