How Soon Is It Safe To Conceive After An Abortion?
I m 28 yrs old got married recently and got pregnant early.. I did my first USG at 6th week and the doctor told that the fetus is healthy with a positive heart beat.. At 11th week I went for my usual antenatal check up and the doctor did both the abdominal and vaginal scan and confirmed that there is no fetal heart beat and the baby was just 9 weeks old. After 1 week I did an induced abortion with oxytocin.. What might be the reason for my baby s death?? How long I should wait for my next pregnancy?? What will be the ideal gap between an abortion and next safe pregnancy??
It’s best to start pregnancy planning at least three or four months after the abortion for good reasons. This is the time to heal the uterus from medical or surgical abortion. Eat green leafy vegetables, use folic acid tablet regularly.
