How Should Irregular Heartbeats With Discomfort, Lightheadedness And Indigestion Be Treated?

I am lying here awake, trying to decide whether to head to the emergency room. I have been having irregular heartbeats for about two weeks. My family doctor ran an EKG two days ago and then had me wear a halter monitor home overnight. I do not know the results of it, but right now I am experiencing discomfort and I am very lightheaded. I have indigestion right at the moment too. I do not want to head to the emergency room, and it not be anything. What do you suggest?

Hi,

I suggest to stop worrying and to cool down. Your heart beat is related so much to your stress and you thinking too much.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
