How Should Internal And External Hemorrhoids With Internal Bleeding Fissure Be Treated?
I have internal and external hemorroids and an internal fissure that bleeds. I have seen a specialist and he told me to try a cream that relaxes the anal muscle and to use suppositories. He told me if it didn't improve in two weeks to go back to see him. Thing is that it improves, then I start to slow down with bum bombardment and then I start to bleed again and experience discomfort. Should I see the specialist again or does this usually go away?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Hemorrhoids and anal fissure are such illness that needs surgery for complete cure and without this, it can be cured through conservative or medical treatments. Other than surgery, alternative methods will not cure the disease but may give temporary relief. It is better to see the surgeon and get done the surgery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
