How Should Cervical Cancer With Tumor Be Treated?
I am 62 yrs old and have been diagonised for cervical cancer
The MRI scan findings are as follows :
* presence of posterior endometrial irregularity with marginal faintly enhancing mass seen proejcting into the endometrial cavity with endo-cervical canal extension.
*Two right and left external iliac lymph nodes seen 13mm & 20mm
*Both ovaries are not clearly visible
*No evidence of bladder, rectal or pelvic wall invasion
SCAN conculsion:
Features of endometrial CA with endo-cervical canal extension
Imaging tunor staging according to FIGO IIB

From the MRI report you have provided, it seems like your diagnosis is Endometrial cancer. Endometrial cancer and Cervical cancer have totally different treatment strategies. A gynaecological examination and a biopsy would help in diagnosis
Endometrial Cancer: Surgery followed by radiation +/- Chemotherapy
Cervical Cancer: Radiation therapy + Concurrent chemotherapy alongside radiation
Endometrial Cancer: Surgery followed by radiation +/- Chemotherapy
