How Should An Anus Hemorrhoid With Redness And Stinging Burns Be Treated?

I am having a problem with a hemroid I just got. The doctor gave me proctozone-hc 2.5 to use 2 times a day. I have also been doing sitz baths 2 times a day and eating a lot of fiber and drinking lots of water. The hemrois doesn t bother me anymore but I have strated to get extreme redness around the anus and it stings and burns. I have stopped using the proctozone for 2 days now as i am worried this might have caused it. I don t know what i can use to fix this.

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to the external haemorrhoid. I recommend using anti haemorrhoids cream such as Preparation H.

I also recommend soaking in warm water for local relief. I recommend avoiding constipation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
