How Should Alcohol Addiction Causing Vomiting Of Blood Be Treated?

Dear Doctors,
I have a brother who is addicted to Alcohol due to personal problems..
I have recently seen vomitting dark brown blood on throwing out..
I would like know what tests to be done..
Does Liver Function Test is available in your Hospital ?

Welcome here.
Blood in vomit is not a good sign especially in alcoholics. This may be a sign of gastritis, ulcers or esophageal varices. Liver function tests are essential. Alongwith that, upper GI Endoscopy is essential.
You must take your brother to emergency room.
