How Should Effexor Taken?

I take 75 mg. of effexor once a day at supper time. I missed 2 doses and needless to say I felt dizzy and nauseous this morning as well as having 4 bowel movements in a few hours. I should have taken my dose in the morning, but decided to take a half dose as I had some of those on hand. My thinking was to take another half dose this evening and then go back to my regular dose tomorrow evening. Is this what I should do or should I not take anything tonight and wait until tomorrow night?

you can take your normal 75mg dose today night with your supper. If you miss any dose in future, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it, you can avoid taking the missed dose if it’s close to your scheduled time. Try not to skip doses (maybe put an alarm) without consulting your physician.
