How Safe Is Taking Nasonex For Severe Sinus Headache?

I suffer from severe sinus headaches for 20 years, I tried everything nothing worked. I referred myself to an ENT doctor and now taking nasonex and I started having a dull pain on my right eyeball and temple as well as irritable and fatigue 24/7. The sinus headaches were much worse but I am afraid my eye is going to be damaged due to the pressure. I stopped taking nasonex and hope that the 24 hr pain and pressure on my rift eye diminishes but I am afraid of my sinus headaches. What am I to do?

Hello,

Nasonex is a very safe medication, I don't think it was the cause for the worsening of your headaches, it simply means it is not enough. You should see the ENT specialist again as more alternatives might be added like antihistamine, decongestants and antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
