- I had surgery 2 years ago for a hernia under my belly button and for a blockage in the small intestine. Right after the surgery I got a infection and they removed the stitches and put me on a medvac.

- I started gaining weight ( I lost alot of weight while in the hopital) and now I have a bulge on the bottom half of stomach. I look like I am pregnantt ( I am 50 yea rold male).

- I went to my Doctor yesterday and I had him check out my stomach because I was concerned about it. He informed me that I have a lateral Hernia because of the surgery ( Another doctor did my surgery). I was prescribed Phentermine ( diet pill) to loss weight and the bukge.

- My questions are as follows:

- Will losing weight make the bulge go down? I am also watching what I eat and run about 10 miles a day.

- Is it possible to have surgery to have a straight line on my stomach and not this huge round red area??
