How Safe Is Taking Hydroxychloroquine For Lupus?
Good Evening,I am a female that was diagnosed with Lupus 4 years ago. I have been taking hydroxychloroquine twice a day. My joint pain most days is very close to unbearable. What exactly does this medicine do for me?? If it isn t working are there homeopathic medicines that I can take that are just as effective? Steroids for me are out of the question. Thanks, L. Moss

hydroxychloroquine is a medicine for arthritis, however it is a mild medicine.
in case your problem is not controlled by this, some other medicines like methotrexate may be added.
homeopathic medicines have not proven to be effective for the same.
steroids may not be required.
