How Safe Is Taking Citalopram For Chronic Stammering?
I have developed a chronic stammer over the last 15months and have been taking citalopram 40mg for 18 months, I am currently being seen by a speech therapist but I am positive that the citalopram is the cause of my stutter. Do you know if there is any evidence to substantiate my theory?
Hi. I read your question and got your concern. You should not worry about the adverse effects of citalopram,as selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors(antidepressent) are safe enough. Continue your dose. Thanks for putting your question on healthcaremagic, if you have further querry, i will be pleased to help you
