How Safe Is Taking Citalopram For Chronic Stammering?
I have developed a chronic stammer over the last 15months and have been taking citalopram 40mg for 18 months, I am currently being seen by a speech therapist but I am positive that the citalopram is the cause of my stutter. Do you know if there is any evidence to substantiate my theory?

You should not worry about the adverse effects of citalopram,as selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors(antidepressent) are safe enough. Continue your dose.
