How Reliable Is Triple Test?

where can i do amniocentesis in delhi. Kindly, tell me a centre where i can find a good doctor who can guide me through the details of the procedure. Is there any problem in doing the test. We have gone through the triple screening test and the report tells us about the increase risk of trisomy 18. Is triple test very much reliable as my wife is in her 18 weeks of gestation period.

hi triple test is a reliable market for screening and should not be taken lightly . I would advise you to undergo an anomaly scan or level 2 scan as well before amniocentesis. amniocentesis will confirm presence or absence of any genetic syndrome . the best place you can get it done is at aiims where they run a fetal medicine clinic or else at fortis hospital gurgaon .all the best take care .
