My doctor wants me to take a pregnancy test just 12 days past ovulation and 24 days since day one of my period. If I don t do ivf this month I ll have to wait an additoinal month and risk not getting insurance coverage for another cycle since I ll be 44 in April. Is it safe to do a blood test this early and have it be reliable? Oh also my periods used to be 25 days before I had two iuis and one ivf , the last two months they have been 30 day cycles.
