How Reliable Is RNA Test In Finding HIV?
Hi doctor I received unprotected oral sex from a sex worker 42 days ago. I am receiving a lot of symptoms of HIV infection including very bad Candida in all areas.
I had an RNA HIV1 test done at day 29 and it came back non reactive. Since then my symptoms have got worse. What is the next course of action and how reliable is the RNA test I had.

HIV RNA is highly sensitive & specific test, u can be sure of the test result as negative for HIV infection,,,
but other STDs and candidal thrush can be transmitted in this process,
probably that is the reason,,
screen out for Syphilis, trichomonas, herpes infections,,,
start Flucon 100mg od/ week for 4 weeks,,,,
take adequate nutrition, n hav good sleep,,
