How Often Should You Have A Colonoscopy After Removal Of Precancerous Polyps?
I had a colonoscopy last week and two polyps were removed. Today I learned the polyps are pre cancerous and that I should repeat test in 3 years. What other things can I do meanwhile for a healthy colon

If the polyps were small and the entire colon was well seen during your colonoscopy, doctors generally recommend a repeat colonoscopy in three to five years.
If your repeat colonoscopy doesn't show any indication of polyps, you might not need another procedure for an additional five years.
