Psychiatrist 's  Response
Avil is not a medicine for sleeping problem. Sleep disturabances are usually secondary to some other problem. Just treating sleep without addressing the underlying cause is like only treating fever (with paracetamol) in case of malaria/typhoid.

Consult a psychiatrist for proper evaluation and management. The target should be to restore sleep without the help of medication.

General Surgeon Dr. Mitesh R. Trivedi's  Response
Hello and welcome to healthcare forum.
Avil 25 is an anti allergic drug and sedation that occurs after taking it is its side effect so it is not ideal to take it for sleep purpose. Another thing, this side effect is a subjective and varies from person to person, so nobody can say for its duration.
Its better you consult a doctor for your sleep problem.
Best wishes for your health.
