How Much Activity Could Be Expected After Recovery?
on behalf of my 68 year old mother diagnosed with a 5 cm lung cancer culminating in the loss of her left lung 4 weeks ago she also has angina which she doesnt have to treat but does carry imedicine for it. After the op her heart rythm was eratic this has been sorted using drugs which she stopped 1 week ago. She is feeling nausea in her tummy and panics at the thought of going to sleep in her bedroom wakes often and can panic when she wakes please could you offer any advice and also the biggest question would be how much independence and what percentage of normal activity could she expect to gain if things went perfectly with her recovery from now . thank you Tony

After hearing your mothers history i feel she will take atleast one month of time for her recovery.
For her nausea she can take tablet Domperidone 10 mg twice daliy before food for 5 days.
For her panic attacks she can take tablet alprazolam 0.5 mg after dinner.
After her recovery she would be 50% independent and she can resume 60% of her normal activity,
