How Long Will The Fracture In Fibula Bone Take To Heal?

Hi I broke my fibula 6 days back closer to my ankle. Cast was put on and was advised not to put any weight on it. My question is how long will it take for the fracture to heal. I am female 55. And though I am complying with Dr s. Order but still sometimes when I move my foot I feel something moving Or a click sort of feeling , is it normal ? On my last oppt the ortho said the bone is in its place. He will see me in 4 days.
