How Long Will The Fever Last After Vaccination With Bexsero Vaccine In An Eleven-month-old?

Hi. My eleven months old baby got her second dose of bexsero on Monday. She has a 39 degree of fever since 7o clock Monday evening. I gave her tylenor like every five hours. Is it normal that to has a fever after vaccine and how long will the fever last? Thank you.

Hi,

Usually, the vaccine-induced fever will last for 24-48 hours, please. Most importantly in between two fever episodes, the kid will be completely normal.

If the fever is persisting for more than 72 hours then you need to approach your paediatrician regarding this, please.
