How Long Will The Bloating Last In Spite Of Hysterectomy?

Hi. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy (ovaries remained) 10 weeks ago. I am back to my normal routine, including working and working out and have been since 6 weeks. I am still very bloated, or as I m reading, it s referred to as swelly belly. Is this normal to still be swollen after 10 weeks? I had the surgery due to bloating from Asherman s Syndrome, so I am discouraged that I am still just as bloated post-op. How long will the swelling last? I look pregnant, and I m very active and weigh 113 lbs and am 5 ft tall. Thanks for any advice.

Madam, Your bloaty feeling post laparoscopic hysterectomy without any other
problem added is innocous as long as effects are to be feared right now. But for your inquiry as to its occurence, it is possibly the result of formation of post op early adhesions formed between the bowel coils - a common result of invading any tissue like Asherman (Fritsch ) syndrome you know.Good news is it is self corrected to a large extent once the inflammation enters resolution phase. In the mean time you consume more fibre diet and increase the brisk walking schedules to keep bowels movement more active. This will be beneficial
