How Long Will It Take To Heal Broken Ribs?

Hi .........I fell off a ladder and broke a couple of ribs a month ago . I am still in pain and relying on painkillers. I have not been back at work yet and wondere how longer I will have to take off. I work as a teaching assistant with 4/5 and 6 year olds. I support children with physical medical conditions. The work is very busy and fast. I am slowly regaining my movement on the side of broken ribs .

Hi. I hope you have taken a consultation of a Doctor,/ Orthopedic Surgeon. Repeat the x-rays and get checked up by the Doctor. If your job is so demanding you may need a stabilization procedure.
