Ocid is omeprazole an antacid or proton pump inhibitor to block excess acid production in stomach so is used for acidity;gastritis and gastric or duodenal ulcer.It is supposed to be used for specific period and long term used without major complaints and without recommendation by a doctor should be avoided.The common side effects are constipation;nausea;rash;malaise joint pain;altered liver enzymes;and decrease in white blood cells.Please stop taking it and consult a doctor if you aresuffering from acidity or related problem and take proper medicines in full course if the doctor advises.
