How Long Should One Take Meclizine For Vertigo?

Been having some dizziness lately. I had vertigo really bad about a year ago. I was prescribed meclizine to take when needed. I haven t had an issue until recently. I do take Dramamine when I feel off kilter. Is meclizine somethingb I should be takingbon a regular basis?

Meclizine is a vestibular suppressant usually given for meniere disease.As meniere disease can occur on episodes patients are usually advised long term treatment(3 months).Regular intake is associated with side effects like dry mouth,drowsiness,constipation and other side effects.Do consult your doctor for expert advice before self medication.
