How Long Should Ecosprin Be Taken By A Diabetic Elderly Female?

hi my mother aged 60years had diabetes since 10 years. recently her blood sugar level was 340 and taking insulin bd 20 units and doctor said she had mild ecg changes and advised ecosprin 75mg. how long ecosprin is needed for her and what other drugs she should take

Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.
in my opinion you need to continue ecosprin until her age reaches 70 yrs.
Because ecosprin can prevent coronary event up to age of 70 years.
After the age of 70 yrs the internal bleeding risk will increase over the benefit of avoiding coronary risk.
