How Long Should A 64 Yo Male With Hyper Tension And High Cholestrol Take Cymbalta & Abilify And Are There Safer Tabs?

How long should someone take Cymbalta and Abilify? And if the person is male and 64 years old with other physical health problems (hypertension, high cholesterol, and gout) are there any precautions to take with these medications? Are there safer medications for a male of this age to address severe depressive and anxiety symptoms?

Cymbalta is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder and also is indicated for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder. ABILIFY contains aripiprazole and is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia. Cymbalta is not known to interact with any of antihypertensive medications. Abilify has some interactions with antihypertensives, i suggest u to continue all medications because your doctor might have foreseen benefits against risks involved in them. All the best. Regards
