How Long Should Krimson Be Taken For PCOD Treatment?

Hello Doc, I am a 21 yrs old girl, im having PCOD, my gynac prescribed to have Krimson 35 pill, for few months since a year, my doubt is how long should i take those pills, the irregular periods continues if i discontinue those pills i have to restart with them again is it safe to have tat im worried if it may affect my future conceving capacity please help.

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Kirmson should be used in PCOD to regularize the period.
You should take for 6 month at least. If you used for short time then it cause delayed period due to rebounce androgenic effect. Do not discontinue the pill without getting regular period. It is safe to take krimson 35.

It does not affect future conceiving capacity.
I give following advice and medicine to manage this type of PCOS case:
Consult the gynecologist and go for LH, FSH, SHBG, Prolactin, E2 ,P, Hcg, DHEAS, Tetosterone analysis that help in management.

Metformin: help in maintain glucose homeostasis and weight, also induce ovulation
Spironolactone and fulatamide: diuretic action and also induce ovulation
Clomiphene citrate to induce ovulation and maintain fertility
FSH hormone and IVF for infertility treatment.
Surgical process: ovarian dreeling if medicine do not work.
Diet care:
Avoid fatty/spicy/salty foods
Take small frequent meal rather large meal
Drink plenty of waters
Avoid excessive sweets
Start regular exercise for 45-60 minutes in the morning
Reduce 10 percent weight is helpful in induction of ovulation
