How Long It Will Take For Mastoid To Get Normal After Flying?

My mastoid bone in both ears have been sore after a flight from VA to LA. I seem to have ear problems on descent to lower areas. It was painfully while the plane was descending. I do all the recommended things. How long should I wait for my mastoid to get back to normal?

dear friend! usually such problems are related with eustechian tube dysfunction and in majority of cases the cause usually is upper respiratory tract infection, nasal allergy or some structural problem. you need to see an ent specialist to rule out these problems and status of your ears and hearing.
