so it just has to be one number. My friends dad had high blood pressure of 203/87. The bottom number is normal but the top number is high. He was in the Dr s with 212/82 and they did not call 911. He went to the ER and had a mini stroke. He is in the hospital now. How can someone have a mini stroke with the low number normal. I was told the top number is not dangerous by itself. Both numbers have to be high. I have had 213/79 before and I didn t have a stroke. I am 34 but he is 86. Does age have a factor. He wants to leave the hospital. What would happen if he tried to leave. My friend is worried that he will try to leave without being released. I know when I tried to leave the hospital once they subdued me with a mild tranquilzer.
I have had a high pitched noise in my head for 4 days.Saw my renal Doctor last week, and my BP was low so he told me to stop the Losartan, and the noise started shortly after that.He said my kidney function tests were getting worse.I have had 2 strokes(one in 94 and the other in 2004),so I m concerned about another.I can t describe what I m feeling very well due to the strokes. It s not a ringing or swishing. At first I was calling it a headache .My BP is usually 120/70, but it was 88/? at the Dr. s office and 140/88 yesterday when I told my wife. Today it was 170/88,so I took a Losartan and am feeling better.I am also Diabetic oral and Byetta controlled.I had had a large turkey meal and some wine before that Dr. Visit. What was the noise? The BP?
my friend who is 16 was taking her blood pressure and it was 220/150. her normal bp is a little high but not that much, somewhere around 133 to 148 over 85 to 95 something. anyways it went from that range to in the 200s and in less than a week. like two days. seriously how could you bp get THAT high in like two days. the reading was right, it wasn t a false one or whatever. anyways if someones bp is that high and they are 16 is that serious enough to where you should call an ambulance or something? or should you just take her to the doctor . i know either way she needs to get checked, but like should you be calling 911 or can it wait cause she has an appt this weekend with her doc. the only thing i know that could of possible rise it THAT much, is she eats a ton of salt, a lot of the time plain, doesn t eat healthy, doesn t exercise, and is under a ton of stress. could that raise it that much in such a short time? also she s underweight , real skinny with that high bp ?
Hi, my mother had sepsis and she had ARF, had to undergo dialysis thrice . her creatinine level was brought back to normal about 1.6. She is diabetic and has high blood pressure about 170-180. She now complains that she sometimes has headache and nausea and this is accompanied by a feeling that her nerves are being internally pulled. Can you please let me know why this happens?
