How Long Does Vasculitis Take To Get Cured?

I have been diagnosed with vasculitus but none of my doctors can tell me what to expect, I do have the rash on my legs, I get a pain in my head on the left side every so often and my feet and legs swell most of the time. How long does it take to die from this?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Vasculitis is difficult disease to treat, complete cure is not guaranteed but we can control the disease with proper and timely treatment. It can be very well controlled multiple drugs like steroids and immuno modulators within a span of three to four weeks. Consult a rheumatologist for expert opinion.

Wishing you good health.

Thanks.
