How Long Does Low Blood Pressure Take To Normalize?

Hi, I had some blood loss due to an issue with my miscarriage a few days ago and it caused my blood pressure to drop dramatically. I was 118/83 when I was admitted and since then my bp dropped to 74/42 at which point I fainted and started having convulsions. It s been a few days now and my bp still hasn t rissen over 113/62.How long does it usually take to recover and is there anything I should do to help it along?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

I am sorry for your loss.

A BP of 113/62 is normal. Normal blood pressure is a systolic (top value) of 90 to 120 and a diastolic (bottom value) of 60 to 80 .
Some persons may have values slightly below these ranges that are normal for them eg diastolic in the fifties or systolics just over 100

Your value is within normal range and is okay.

I hope this helps
