How Long Does Jaundice Take To Get Cured?

I got jaundice from last two days...my sgot and sgpt is 940,1000.....dr said it is starting stage of jaundice...hepatities reports yet to cum...i m under following medicines 1.essentiale-l 2.beplex forte 3.udiliv300. Currently no fever...little weekness...so how much time take to recover??? Now i m mainly on glucose,mosambi,dahi rise..coconut water....

Hello,
keep your diet apropriate by avoiding fats enriched and highly proteiniceous food. Avoid having Alcohol and all those things which may impair lver function. The jaundice depends on the cause of it. If it is Hepatitis A, it shouldn't take too long. Hepatitis B can take upto 6-12 months to settle, on the other hand. So, for now, adjust your diet and let's wait for the reports to come so to know the cause of Jaundice. Thank you
