How long does it take to recover from diabetic coma?
my partners mum was found in her flat unconssious thought to have been there 28 hours before she was found she is in a diabetic coma her kidneys arent working and her liver is now slightly normal she has been off sudation 48 hours and hasnt woken up? how long can it take for them to wake up?
Dear i can understand your concern. in my opinion the diabetic coma is a kind of terminal complication in diabetes.as per your history even renal system is not working properly.So there will be electrolyte imbalance also.in young patients usually recover will be seen after 4-5 days. in elderly pts usually recovery will be delayed, to predict her recovery i need to see her metabolic profile.
