Hi,

Cotinine is a metabolite of nicotine. It can be detected in blood and urine for around 2 to 4 days after the last intake. However, it can be detected in hair samples for up to three months after last intake. For the purpose of employment, usually urine or blood is tested. So, if you can manage to abstain for at least five days or more, there is no need to worry.

Best wishes.
