How Long Does Xanax Stay In Urine?
Hi, I have been prescribed clonazepam for about 5 years now, I took xanax (about 5 mgs over a week s period), how long will the xanax remain in my urine (drug test). I had taken a valium one time and it showed up about 6 weeks after in a drug test, is this the same for xanax? I m 150 lb and 5ft5 if that helps...

Xanax (the active ingredient Alprazolam) is a benzodiazepine drug and it is very problematic for urine testing, because they can be detectable for as long as 6 weeks after taking them.
There is no hard and fast rule on the time frame, however, because it can be affected by many other factors, such as your individual metabolism, overall health, fluid intake, activity levels and many other factors.
