Hello,

Many a times the side effects can last a bit longer, however, one week a long time for it is.

You should not just wait for the symptoms to resolve if you are not getting better and consult an Emergency room and get yourself checked.

You can be advised certain medications to relieve the symptoms so that you get better soon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
