Hello,

Kidney transplant has revolved to a procedure with high success rates and transplant rejection is rare in these days.

You have to stay two to three weeks in the ICU to prevent infection as it is very crucial in the immediate post operative period. You might require life line immunomodulators to prevent rejection of transplanted kidneys.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
