Hello Doctor, I am 25 yrs old. I used to have regular periods. when I was 7 weeks pregnant ( calculated from the last period), it got aborted through medicines (misoprostal - total 12 tablets - 4 tablets with 1 week gap - like wise 3 weeks) and I was bleeding for 1 month. Later I took 1 pause tablet. Bleeding stopped and 1 week later very lite bleeding started and this continued for 1week. After this I got abdomen scan done and In the abdomen scan my endometrium thickness was 15mm. So doctor suggested me to take meprate 10 mg for 5 days (2 per day) to get the bleeding started. On 5th day of my bleeding I am planning to take femilon (family planning pills). This entire medication is under the supervision of doctor only. At that time of abortion my TSH is 11 and took 50mcg thyronorm. after 3 weeks it came to 4, this time I continued with 25 mcg thyronorm and 3 more weeks it came to 1.8 and presently taking 25 mcg thyronorm only and I notice my T4 is slightly increasing. Please let me know the reason for it. Kindly suggest me if I am going wrong anywhere. today is 2nd day I started with meprate tablet. Also please let me know if there will be any side effects of femilon and maximum how long can I use it without any long term / hormonal effects on my body?
