Hello,

Nexito (Escitalopram) is used for teatment of depression and generalized anxiety disorders(GAD).

Use of alcohol is not recommended while on this drug as it may potentiate the effects of alcohol.

Usually it is advised to continue with the prescribed therapy once improvement has been noted. Periodic Psychiatric consultation is needed though.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
