How Long Can Dulera And Proair Be Taken?

Hello I was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma several years ago. I was given Dulera and Proair to take in case of breathing problems. I have only had to use them a few times. My question is: These Rx. s are outdated (April 2016 & November of 2016) Can I still take these med s when needed? My allergest moved out out state and I have not started with a new dr. yet. Thank You!

Hello dear.
As per your concern, yes you can take proair in case of breathing difficulty as prescribed by the doctor and also dulera
But i would advise you to limit the use of dulera as it will have side-effects of steroids after long term use.
Use proair foe breathing difficulty and if the symptoms do not control with this single medicine, add dulera.Instead you can have tab monteleukast 10 mg once at night before bedtime for keeping the symptoms in control.
Hope it will help.
Wishing you good health :-)
