How Long Can Clavam Be Taken For A Streptococcus Pyogenes Infection?
what if i have severe infection of streptococcus pyogenes and i take clavam625 for long time?....i heard that clavam meant for broad sprectrum of bacteria and those bacteria can develop resistance to antibiotic but only streptococcus pyogenes can not.so ,in future i get disease like pnemonia or syphillis,same medicine means clavam might be used.but unfortunately it wont work because those bacteria already developed resistance to that antibiotic.i heard that bicillin LA is only specific to streptococcus pyogenes means it is of narrow spectrum.but doctor says once i take bicillin la, i can not stop it.if i get cured after taking bicillin for long time, then why should i continue it?

You should take antibiotic till the coverage of infection .
