How Long Before Rhinoplasty Should Smoking Be Quitted?

I am 28years old and having rhinoplasty in one week. My surgeon advised me to quit smoking cigs at least two weeks prior to surgery.However, this last week i have continued to smoke about a half cig daily (& sometimes a full cig). how bad is this? Do i need to reschedule my surgery?

you can stop smoking right away.
there is no need to reschedule your surgery if you stop smoking for 1 week.
