How Long After Taking Cytolog And Mifegest Will Bleeding Resume?

Hi Doctor, My wife s LMP was 30th April 2015. When she did not have regular period, we checked for UPT and it was found to be positive. We went for scanning and it was found out that she is 6week 5 days pregnant. Doctor advised to take 1 mifegest 200mg on 19th night and 3 tablets of 200mg cytolog on 21st and 22nd June 2015. from 23rd June the doctor has advised to take azithral 500 for five days. I want to know, when would my wife starting bleeding and how should she take cytolog? i.e orally or vaginally. Kindly advise as I am very tensed. Also I want to know would this have any implications in future pregnancy. Thanking You, Aakash

Usually 4 tablets of cytolog or misoprostol are required for the complete process. The beginning and duration of bleeding varies from person to person, it can last for 1 week to 10 days. In some cases there are retained products of conception inside so it can last for a longer duration with heavy bleeding and passage of clots. Give her iron supplements.
